The Samarkand International Airport , also Samarqand Xalqaro Aeroporti called, is the international airport of the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan . It is one of the most important airports in the country after Tashkent Airport .
Airlines and Destinations
There are no flights to Samarkand from German-speaking countries. The national airline Uzbekistan Airways , which operates the airport, has aircraft stationed there and offers flights several times a day to the capital Tashkent and regularly to Moscow and Saint Petersburg .
