The Choibalsan Airport is the airport of the Mongolian town of Choibalsan . In 2001, after the completion of a new building, the airport recorded almost 10,000 passengers.

The airport is about 15 kilometers east of the 42,000-inhabitant city of Choibalsan in eastern Mongolia. The Mongolian-Chinese border is about 50 kilometers east of the airport. At an altitude of 749 meters, the airport is well below Mongolia's mean altitude of 1580 m.

The airport is used by the Mongolian airline Hunnu Air , which flies from Choibalsan to Hailar and Ulaanbaatar .
