Hailar
The district of Hailar ( Chinese 海拉尔 区 , Pinyin Hǎilā'ěr Qū ; Mongolian ᠬᠠᠶᠢᠯᠠᠷ ᠲᠣᠭᠣᠷᠢᠭ Qayilar toɣoriɣ ), formerly independent city of Hailar is the political and economic center of the prefecture-level city of Hulun Buir Autonomous Region Inner Mongolia of the People's Republic of China . Hailar has an area of 1,440 km² and around 260,000 inhabitants (end of 2004).
Administrative structure
At the community level, Hailar is made up of six street districts and two large communities . These are:
- Road quarter Hulun (呼伦街道);
- Jiankang Street (健康 街道);
- Jianshe Street District (建设 街道);
- Road quarter Kaoshan (靠山街道);
- Shengli Street District (胜利 街道);
- Zhengyang Street (正阳 街道);
- Greater community Fendou (奋斗镇);
- Hague municipality (哈克 镇).
