Yakeshi
Yakeshi ( Chinese 牙克石 市 , Pinyin Yákèshí Shì ; Mongolian ᠶᠠᠭᠰᠢ ᠬᠣᠲᠠ Yaɣsi qota ) is an independent city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ofthe People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Hulun Buir . Yakeshi has an area of 27,590 km² and has a population of 378,747 (end of 2008). The administrative area of the city extends from west to east across the ridge of the northern Great Hinggan Mountains and consists largely of mountain taiga , the z. T. forestry, z. T. is used for tourism. In addition, Yakeshi is rich in mineral resources, especially coal , iron ore , zinc , copper , fluorite , perlite , limestone , clay and twelve other raw materials that are exploited in numerous mines.
