Zalantun

Zalantun ( Chinese 扎兰屯市 , Pinyin Zhālántún Shì ; Mongolian ᠵᠠᠯᠠᠨ ᠠᠶᠢᠯ ᠬᠣᠲᠠ Jalan Ayil qota ) is an independent city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ofthe People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Hulun Buir . Zalantun has an area of 16,800 km² and has around 450,000 inhabitants (end of 2009).

The Zalantun National Park 扎兰屯风景名胜区 is located in the area of the city.

Administrative structure

At the community level, Zalantun is made up of seven street districts , six large communities and three nationality communities. These are:

Road quarter Fanrong (繁荣街道);

Gaotaizi Street District (高台子街道);

Quarter Road Hexi (河西街道);

Tiedong Street (铁东街道);

Quarter Road Xiang Yang (向阳街道);

Xinghua Street District (兴华街道);

Zhengyang Street (正阳街道);

Greater community Dahewan (大河湾镇);

Greater community Hoyorshan (浩饶山镇);

Greater community Moguqi (磨菇气镇);

Greater community Qinggis Haan (成吉思汗镇);

Large municipality of Wati (洼堤镇);

Large municipality Woniuhe (卧牛 Groß);

Ewenkische nationality community Samagir (萨马街鄂温克民族乡);

Oroqen nationality community of Nomhan (南木鄂伦春民族乡).

There are also four state farms (one of which is a prison branch) and a state horse farm.
