New left bargu banner
The New Left Bargu Banner ( Chinese 新 巴尔 虎 左旗 , Pinyin Xīn Bā'ěrhǔ Zuǒqí ; Mongolian ᠰᠢᠨᠡ ᠪᠠᠷᠭᠤ ᠵᠡᠭᠦᠨ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Sin-e Barɣu Jegün qosiɣu ) is located in the southwest of the administrative area of the city of Hulun Buir in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ofthe People's Republic of China . It extends from 117 ° 33 'to 120 ° 12' E. L. and from 46 ° 10 'to 49 ° 47' N. Br.
In the east it borders on the Old Bargu Banner and the Autonomous Banner of the Evenks, in the south on the Hinggan League, in the west on the New Right Bargu Banner , in the northwest on the city of Manjur , in the north on Russia and in the southwest the Mongolia . The border with Russia lies in the middle reaches of the Ergun and divides the island of Abagaitu Zhouzhu between the two countries. The main town and administrative seat of the banner is the municipality of Amgulang.
The banner has an area of 22,200 km², 41,382 inhabitants (end of 2003) and a population density of 1.86 inh / km². In the 2000 census, 41,647 inhabitants were counted. It lies in the transition zone between the Great Hinggan Mountains and the Mongolian plateau in their north. The south of the banner is one of the vast wooded areas of the northern slopes of the Great Hinggan. Here is also the highest point of the banner, the Orgon Ul at 1,573 m. The annual average temperature is -0.5 ° C, the average temperature in January -24.2 ° C.
In Yongzheng 12 (1734) the administration of the Qing Dynasty founded four "New Bargu Banners of the Left Wing", which were combined in 1932 to form the "New Bargu Banner of the Left Wing". In 1959 the banner got its current name.
Economically, the banner is dominated by the migratory livestock farming (horses, cattle, sheep and goats) of the Mongols .
Administrative structure
The New Left Bargu banner consists of two large municipalities , six Sum and a state pasture (with municipal status). These are:
- Amgulang municipality (阿木 古 郎 镇), capital, seat of the banner government;
- Greater community Qagan (嵯岗镇);
- Sum Bayan Nur (巴音 诺尔 苏木);
- Sum Ganjur (甘 珠 尔苏 木);
- Sum Modon Amj (莫达 木 吉苏 木);
- Sum Obor Bulag (乌布尔 宝 力 格苏 木);
- Sum Jabhulangt (吉布 胡 郎 图 苏木) ,;
- Sum Handagai (罕达盖苏 木);
- Qagan Shuangwa state pasture (嵯 岗 双 娃 牧场).
These nine administrative units are in turn subdivided into eight communities of residents (in the large municipalities), 53 Gaqaa ("villages" in the Sum) and six "administrative districts" in the state pasture area. In addition, there are six state forest districts without their own administrative status in the New Left Bargu Banner.
