Sunam Uudam or Wudamu (born September 9, 1999 in Hulun Buir ) is a Chinese children's folk singer who became popular through his participation in the Chinese version of "The Super Talent " .

Life

Uudam belongs to the Mongolian minority and lives in Hulun Buir in Inner Mongolia . He is a member of the children's choir in Hulun Buir ("Hulunbei'er Children's Choir"). His parents were killed in traffic accidents. When he was eight years old, his mother was badly injured and paralyzed by one of his performances on the way home and died the following year after he cared for her thoroughly for a year. His father died two years later on the way to Uudam's performance. Therefore, the choir director Buren Bayar and his wife Wurina took over his family and artistic support. His adoptive father is also a popular singer who performs in this region.

During the presentation in “Das Supertalent” (Dragon TV) in May 2011, Uudam sang the song Mother in My Dream in Mongolian . His performance was warmly received by the audience and the jury. During this program, Uudam also sang with Buren Bayar and Wurina. He also appeared in a video of his adoptive father Take me to the prairie (English "Take me to the prairie", Chinese 带 我 去 草原 吧) as an extra.

December 2011 the Amadeus International School Vienna (Vienna Music School and Academy) awarded its annual scholarship for vocal practice in Bad Goisern to Uudam for the opening of its branch in Shanghai , thus for the first time in China. The trip was donated by the airline.
