The Yaounde Airport (YAO), including airport Yaounde , is a military airport in Yaounde , Cameroon .
It is located within the capital and is also called Yaoundé Ville Airport . This airport used to be used internationally until it was replaced by the new Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport (NSI) , which is about 13 kilometers to the south. Since then, YAO has only been used by the government and the military.
