The airfield Abaiang , officially English. : Abaiang Atoll Airport , often only Abaiang Airport or Abaiang Airstrip ( IATA code : ABF, ICAO code : N OT), is a small national airport of Kiribati , located in the central part of the main island of the northern Gilbert Islands belonging Abaiang - atoll near the equator . It lies between the settlements of Tabwiroa and Tuarabu , not far from the main town of Taburao .

Abaing is served by Air Kiribati from Bonriki International Airport in South Tarawa . The flight time is only 7 minutes.
