The plane landed from Beijing coming on the airport Omsk . From there it took off for Moscow and rose to a cruising altitude of 10,000 meters. The speed dropped, stalled , the plane got out of control and went into an almost vertical dive . At an altitude of 2,000 meters, the pilots managed to flatten the dive a little, but could not prevent the crash. All 71 passengers, including delegates from China and North Korea, and the 9 crew members died.
