Flumpool (stylized: flumpool ) is a Japanese rock and pop music group that had several top 10 hits in Japan.
history
Yamamura, Sakai and Amakawa, who have been friends since they went to kindergarten, formed a band called 309 in 2002. Ogura joined this band in 2007 and the band's name was changed to Flumpool. In 2008 they sold their first CD, hana ni nare . Unreal , released in 2008, went platinum for more than 250,000 albums sold. In 2009, Flumpool topped the Japanese charts and received an Artist of the Year award. The band played in the Nippon Budōkan ( 日本 武 道 館 ) and appeared for the first time in the annual TV New Year's Eve show Kōhaku Uta Gassen ( 紅白 歌 合 戦 ). In 2019 the band landed at number 5 on the Japanese Billboard charts with the single Help.
