The Flutter Rookery is a breeding colony of emperor penguins on the Lars Christensen coast of the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It is surrounded by icebergs that are firmly connected to the east side of the Bjerkø peninsula .

Hugh Overend Wilson (1924-1959), Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Air Force , discovered them on his flight on August 8, 1958 from Mawson Station to Davis Station . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them on July 22, 1959 after Maxwell John Flutter (* 1917), head of the Davis station in 1958.
