Flying class enemy
Flying Klassenfeind was a punk band founded in 1982 . Although she sang in English, she is included in the Neue Deutsche Welle . It consisted of Michael Ruff, Detlef and Diedrich Diederichsen , Markus Oehlen , Chris Lunch and Jörg Gülden . The band saw itself as a parody and in 1982 released a record entitled "The Flying Klassenfeind".
concept
The band consisted of four music critics (Gülden, Ruff, Geschwister Diederichsen), a painter (Oehlen) and a musician (Lunch). Regardless of the audience, interpretations of The Flying Burrito Brothers , The Velvet Underground and also their own pieces were immortalized on vinyl and declared a cult due to their lovable inaudibility. With their work, the band wanted to “alienate pop history from 1955 to the present day”.
