Sireena Records

Sireena Records is a German independent label based in Pötenitz and Osterholz-Scharmbeck (creative center).

Tom Redecker ( The Perc Meets the Hidden Gentleman , The Electric Family ) and Lothar Gärtner (publisher of Strangeways magazine) founded the record label in 2000 with the aim of bringing rare, unreleased and out of print titles back onto the market.

Since the Redecker had no label with his band The Perc Meets the Hidden Gentleman, Strange Ways Records was also founded.

Lothar Gärtner died in 2005. Bernd Paulat and Tom Redecker have been running the label since 2008, keeping the two locations.

The label also gains great recognition from music connoisseurs with its elaborate compilations of certain musical genres such as jazz rock , krautrock , progressive rock and punk . Early on, the label also recognized the re-increasing importance of the record from vinyl for the music lover and has since depended with his publications sounded technically preparation for technical standards, especially abroad.

The label Edition Sireena Music, which has existed since 2013, is also part of the label.
