Jörg Gülden
Jörg Gülden (* 1944 in Paderborn ; † May 8, 2009 in Hamburg ) was a German music journalist and musician .
Life
From 1973 Gülden wrote for the magazine Sounds , from 1982 under the pseudonym Dr. Gonzo for their successor Musikexpress . He wrote children's books and initiated and supervised the book series Rock-Session of the Rowohlt Verlag in the 1980s . From its founding until 2001, he was editor-in-chief of the German edition of Rolling Stone together with Bernd Gockel . He received with the editors of this work for Rolling Stone in 1996 the Echo as a media man of the year . After this time he worked as a translator and freelance writer. His last publication was shortly before his death "a settlement" with the Woodstock myth under the title Woodstock - Miracle or Waterloo?
In addition, Jörg Gülden was temporarily an editor at SFB and OK Radio .
In the 1980s Jörg Gülden played in the band Flying Klassenfeind .
He died at the age of 64 from sepsis , which was the result of hip surgery.
