Flyright Records

Flyright Records is an influential British record label that was founded in 1970 by Mike Ledbitter and Bruce Bastin and is still in operation today. It specializes in re- publishing blues and jazz recordings from the pre- and post-war period ( World War II ) that were originally released on shellac or previously unreleased , but also publishes recordings by contemporary artists.

Musicians whose recordings are still available on Flyright CDs to this day include Mississippi John Hurt , Champion Jack Dupree , The Del-Vikings , Gabriel Brown , Five Red Caps , Cecil Gant , Sam Chatmon , Frank Hovington , Ink Spots , Pete Seeger , Ralph Sutton , Harry James , Wingy Manone and The Five Blind Boys Of Alabama .
