Bruce Bastin

Bruce Bastin (born September 19, 1939 in Chelmsford , England ) is the leading expert when it comes to the blues styles and interpreters of the east coast of the United States (" Piedmont Blues ").

He holds a degree in Folklore from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is the author of the standard works Crying for the Carolines and Red River Blues: The Blues Tradition in the Southeast .

Bruce Bastin is also the owner and managing director of Interstate Music, Ltd., West Sussex , England , with the record labels
