Folk Friends
Folk Friends was a short-term studio group put together for recordings.
Career
At the invitation of Hannes Wader , musicians from the German and English-speaking songwriter and folk music scene met under this name in the Müllerhaus near Wader's apartment, the “ Fortuna ” windmill in Struckum near Husum .
Participants of the first Folk Friends meeting were Derroll Adams , Davey Arthur , Alex Campbell , Guy & Candie Carawan , Finbar Furey , Wizz Jones , Werner Lämmerhirt , Matthias Raue , Jörg Suckow and Hannes Wader.
Derroll Adams, Davey Arthur, Alex Campbell, Guy & Candie Carawan, Ramblin 'Jack Elliott , John Faulkner , Finbar Furey, Dick Gaughan , Andy Irvine , Wizz Jones, Dolores Keane , Werner Lämmerhirt , Lydie Slopianka attended the second Folk Friends meeting -Auvray , Jörg Suckow, Danny Thompson and Hannes Wader.
