Folke Jansson
Folke Jansson ( Folke Georg "Pytta" Jansson; born April 23, 1897 in Jönköping , † July 18, 1965 in Gothenburg ) was a Swedish triple jumper .
At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he won the silver medal with 14.48 m behind the Finn Vilho Tuulos (14.505 m) and in front of his compatriot Erik Almlöf (14.27 m). Four years later, he finished fifth in the Paris Olympics .
He was Swedish champion seven times (1917, 1919–1924) and once English champion (1921). On June 29, 1918, he set a national record in Oslo with 14.92 m, which he improved on August 28, 1920 in Paris to 15.09 m.
