Business area
After several mergers with other Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks, the business area includes the municipal areas Buchen (Odenwald) , Walldürn , Hardheim , Höpfingen , Adelsheim , Osterburken (only Schlierstadt and Bofsheim) and Mudau . Around 52,000 people live in the business area, of whom more than 45,000 are customers of the bank.
structure
With over 25,000 members, Volksbank Franken eG is the largest personal association in the region. In accordance with the Cooperative Society Act and the Articles of Association, these members determine the bank's business policy through the meeting of representatives and the supervisory board.
In addition to the bank's own products and services, Volksbank Franken offers services from the cooperative finance group ( Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall , R + V Versicherungsgruppe , Union Investment , DZ BANK, VR-Leasing and the cooperative mortgage banks ).

Training and staff development
13 employees are in training to become a bank clerk or financial assistant. At the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Mosbach, one or two students study for a Bachelor of Arts every year .
On December 2, 2014, Volksbank Franken won the Golden Runkelrübe for its career video , the award “for outstandingly poor personal communication”.

Exhibitions
During the course of the year, Volksbank Franken presents exhibitions and vernissages at its financial marketplaces in its large bank branches. The spectrum ranges from artists like Tudor Banus (Paris) to exhibitions by artists from the Kunstverein Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis to the presentation of works by amateur artists from the region.
