The Fond d'Or ( German for "water (broth) of gold" ) is a river in the Dennery Quarter on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia .
geography
The river arises from several larger tributaries in the center of the island, runs east, north of Deliade , and after a few kilometers, shortly after the Castries-Vieux Fort Highway crosses it, it flows into the Atlantic Ocean in Fond d'Or Bay . The second main source is not far from the border with the Quarter Dauphin in Derniere Riviere ( ⊙ ).
Neighboring rivers are the Dennery River in the south and the Cul de Sac rises on the west side of the ridge and flows west towards Castries .
