Thomas Hofer (Political Advisor)
Thomas Martin Hofer (born September 24, 1973 in Judenburg ) is an Austrian political advisor , author and former domestic politics editor of the news magazine profil .
career
From 1996 Hofer was a freelance journalist for profil and Falter , from 1998 to 2003 domestic policy editor of the news magazine profil , 2004 political advisor at Kovar & Köppl in Vienna and from 2006 shareholder of public consult GmbH . Since 2008 he has been a managing partner of H & P Public Affairs GmbH . He is a member of the European Association of Political Consultants and is a fellow at the German Institute for Media and Communication Policy in Berlin.
Hofer studied communication science and English at the University of Vienna, where he received his Mag. Phil. completed. In 2004 he received a Master of Arts in Political Management from George Washington University . In 2005 he also received his doctorate in communication studies from the University of Vienna .
He teaches at the University of Vienna for the journalism & media management , "Public Communication, Postgraduate" course.
