The Fondachhof , also known as Kögl-, Mayr or Apothekerhof, is a former mansion in the Parsch district of Salzburg (Gaisbergstraße 46).

The farm was first mentioned in 1122 under Abbot Reginbert as part of the St. Peter's Hospital . There have been changing bourgeois owners since the 15th century. Around 1687, the university notary Georg von Tach (later Fontach) gave it its name. In 1727 the farm is owned by the court pharmacist Mayr (therefore also called Mayr- or Apothekerhof) and his successors until 1872. In 1777 the court pharmacist and Mayr grandson inherits the two buildings (Fondach- and Apothekerhof) and builds it with his wife Katharina Schöpfer von Klarenbrunn converted the Fondachhof into a mansion. Under her niece Franziska Schöpfer von Klarenbrunn, the property expanded through the purchase of further farms (Fritzenhof and Estererhof). The property is then divided among the creator-nephew Alexander Petter, Magister Karl Petter and Lieutenant Franz Petter, the first being in turn court pharmacist. Karl Petter sells the inherited Fondachhof in 1872 to Anna Countess Revertera y Salandra , who in turn succeeds Mathilde Countess Revertera y Salandra. During this time, a number of renovations were made, for example two new verandas and a balcony on the first floor were created by master bricklayer A. Wagner, in 1902 a new farm building, a stable and a tower-like extension for the toilet facilities were built (today a lift).

In 1941 the Fondachhof passed from Franz Karl Revertera to the new owner Asamer. Under this, the Fondachhof becomes a hotel from 1951, with the former farm building and several garden houses being redesigned. Garden houses and a glazed tea pavilion designed by Otto Prossinger were built in the park of the property . On July 20, 1952, the actress Greta Garbo stayed here ; the guest book shows other illustrious guests, e. B. the prima donna Lotte Lehmann, Hilde Gülden or Elisabeth Schwarzkopf , the conductors Joseph Keilberth , Sir Georg Solti , Claudio Abbado and Seiji Ozawa or the composers Frank Martin , Olivier Messiaen and Leonard Bernstein . At the end of 1993 the five-star hotel was closed.

From 1997, the Salzburg property developer Fürst Developments had residential buildings built on the Fondachhof area according to the master plan of the architect Luigi Snozzi .

The Fondachhof is a three-storey building with an almost rectangular floor plan, a steep hipped roof with three towers on the long side and one on the broad side, five-axis to the south and seven-axis to the east, square windows on the ground floor, rectangular windows on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The coat of arms of the family Revertera-Salandra is seen on the front facade of the Fondachhofes.
