Fondeadero Magallanes ( Spanish is) a natural harbor in Paradise Harbor before the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located north of the Islotes Inútil off the eastern end of Bryde Island .
Chilean scientists named it after the whaling ship Magallanes , which broke into Antarctic waters on September 18, 1903 as the first ship in modern industrial whaling.
