The Islotes Inútil ( Spanish for Useless Islands ) are a group of four small islands off the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . They are surrounded by cliffs , between the headlands of Punta Gutiérrez and Punta Soffia, east of Bryde Island in Paradise Harbor .
Scientists from the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950–1951) mapped and named them. The further naming background has not been passed down.
