Fonte Niedda

The well sanctuary ( Italian Pozzo sacro ) Fonte Niedda (not to be confused with Serra Niedda ), discovered in 1980, is located about two kilometers southeast of Perfugas in the province of Sassari in Sardinia . The outer walls of the tholos, which have been preserved up to a height of about one meter, are made of neatly worked trachyte blocks and are for the most part provided with two round, protruding bosses . Like other well-crafted fountains, it comes from the transition from the Bronze Age to the Sardinian Iron Age .

Nearby attractions include the sacred fountains Predio Canopoli and Nulvi Irru.
