For You ( dt : "For you.") Is the first and only studio album at the same time the German Pop - singer Daniel Lopes . It was released on February 24, 2003 by Far Music . Lopes wrote two of the songs himself, on the one hand the title I Will Never Stop and on the other hand the song In the Night (I Miss You) , which can only be heard on the DVD, which was released in the summer of the same year. In addition, the music video for the single Shine On is on the album as a bonus.

Chart placements
The album For You entered the German charts on March 31st and reached number 35. The CD stayed in the chart for four weeks. In Switzerland, Lopes' debut album reached rank 88. Here the studio album was represented for a week.
Single releases
Shine on
The track Shine On was released as a debut single on February 17, 2003. The song entered the German charts at number 14 on March 3 and stayed there for nine weeks. In Austria, the release placed 52nd after the piece entered the charts on March 23. After four weeks the title was no longer in the official sales charts. In Switzerland, the song entered the charts on March 16, 2003 and reached position 87. Shine On was represented in the chart for two weeks . The video for the song was shot on one day in Florida , USA . Frank Farian and Michael Bröllochs directed it. All scenes were recorded by Chuck Ozeas. The single sold more than 250,000 times.
I Love You More Than Yesterday
The second single was I Love You More Than Yesterday on June 20, 2003 . He entered the German single charts on July 14, 2003 and was 95th there for two weeks. On July 28th, the song dropped out of the chart. This video was also shot in Florida, with Chuck Ozeas responsible for the recordings. Bröllochs and Farian were the directors for this video shoot.

A total of eight music videos were shot to support the album . There are video clips for the titles I Will Never Stop , I Love You More Than Yesterday , In the Night , By Heart , You're Not Invisible , Shine On , Summer Angel and Supergirl . All videos were shot in Miami .
DVD
On August 25th, the DVD For You: On Paradise Island was released in German-speaking countries. This DVD was released for the Sat.1 film His Life - His Songs . It contains the track list of the album in reversed order as well as the bonus track In the Night (I Miss You) .
