The Forbidden Rocks (English for Forbidden Rocks ) are a straight mountain range made up of rocky outcrops in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Jones Mountains they loom between the Haskell and Walk glaciers on the western edge of Christoffersen Heights .
The University of Minnesota crew that explored the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961 mapped and named them. It was named after the fact that an area of crevasses made it impossible to access them from the north-west.
