Forever the Sickest Kids are an American pop-punk band from Dallas .

biography

The band was formed in 2006 from the members of two defunct bands from Dallas, Ben Bradley and Flipside . They bought a place on the homepage of the Internet music platform PureVolume without even having a suitable recording. With the short-term recorded song Hey Brittany , they actually got a record deal with Universal Motown .

A first EP release and tour appearances in numerous US states was followed in 2008 by the debut longplayer Underdog Alma Mater , which brought them into the top 50 of the US album charts and the top 10 of the alternative charts. Further tours followed.

At the end of 2009 they wanted to release an EP trilogy, The Weekend: Friday was released at the end of the year and was also successful in the charts, but then "Saturday" and "Sunday" became a second full album. It bears the band name and surpassed the success of the debut album after its release in March 2011. On June 25th, 2013 the 3rd studio album JACK followed , which was released for the first time under the new label Fearless Records after Universal Motown was closed. The album's lyrics deal with relationships, growing up, reflection, the importance and value of friendship, American stereotypes and self-esteem.
