Formula Mundi
The Formula Mundi Filmfest is an independent and internationally advertised non-profit themed festival that was founded in 2003 in Schwäbisch Hall at the local University of Applied Sciences by Guido Kühn and Christian M. Fischer . The festival does not have a fixed venue and takes place at irregular intervals and with changing cooperation partners, but always in an academic context. A competition is affiliated with the festival, which since 2007 has been awarding prizes in categories such as short and fiction films, documentary films, animation and experiment / artistic film, and above all a main prize, Formula Mundi .
The festival generally deals with the success, existence or failure of past, present and future social models and structures. This includes interpersonal issues between a few people or the discourse between cultures and states as well as how people deal with themselves and their ecological and cultural environment. With each orientation, a new focus is set within this topic.
In addition to Formula Mundi 2009, BUND Lower Saxony and the Federal Association of Regional Movement announced a clip competition with the support of the Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, which was opened at the Green Week in Berlin.
