Research and Documentation Center Chile-Latin America

The Research and Documentation Center Chile-Latin America ( FDCL ) is a non-profit association that was founded in Berlin in 1974 and has been based in Berlin's Mehringhof since the early 1980s . He deals with solidarity work for Latin America and related education, public relations and lobbying work.
Workspaces and collaboration
The FDCL has an archive specializing in Latin America , which, together with other Third World archives, forms the Archiv3 network. Furthermore, the FDCL organizes events, seminars, conferences and campaigns as part of its human rights and development-related education and public relations work on Latin America and the Caribbean . The publications of the FDCL appear under the ISBNs: 3-923020-xy-z.
The FDCL has a basic internationalist orientation and sees itself as part of the German solidarity movement and the global movement critical of globalization. With a regional focus on Latin America and the Caribbean , it deals with the various aspects of globalization and the international framework conditions for development in the context of the so-called North-South relationship .
Since its inception, the FDCL has been associated with the Latin America News , a monthly magazine .
