Forsthaus Heide is a place in the border area between Hesse and Baden-Wuerttemberg , which is in the district of Viernheim in Hesse. Both in terms of traffic and postal services, however, Forsthaus Heide is accessible via Lampertheim .

The name of the place and significant development is the forester's house Heide, which was built in 1849 as a district forester. In the 1970s, forest operations were stopped and the area was divided between the Lampertheim and Viernheim foresters. The area then served as accommodation for the Lorsch scouts . Today the Forsthaus Heide is privately owned.
