The ruins of Fort VII of the Warsaw Fortress (also called Fort “Zbarż”) are located in the Warsaw district of Włochy and were part of the outer defensive ring of the Warsaw Fortress . The fort was built in the 1880s. In the defensive ring it was between the forts "Okęcie" and "Służew" . The remains of the fort are now - covered by some office buildings - in the immediate vicinity of the terminal building of Warsaw's Frédéric Chopin Airport .

The artillery fort was built in the form of a pentagon that is common in Warsaw, but only with one instead of the usual two walls. The exact date of construction is unknown. As part of the decision to liquidate the Warsaw fortifications in 1909, the fort was partially demolished. One of the few retrofitted (concrete-covered) casemates in Warsaw forts has been preserved. The fort, of which only ruins remain, is owned by the Polish Agency for Military Properties ( Agencja Mienia Wojskowego ). Parts of the outside areas ( esplanade and in the valley area ) were used to create allotment garden settlements. The defensive ditch, which was filled with water, was probably dry in the past and which now also floods the access to the casemates at the rear, is a popular fishing spot because of its abundance of fish.
