history

The center consists of two adjacent buildings connected by a covered passage. It has a total area of ​​40,000 m², was opened on October 23, 1997 and houses over 140 shops on three floors. It also has panoramic elevators and a large food court . There are 1,250 parking spaces available to visitors in the multi-storey car park. Access to the shopping facilities designed as inner corridors (mall) is barrier-free .

In 2011, the planning for another shopping center was completed. It will be built on the Elcknerplatz 2/8 site, Bahnhofstrasse 23, 25 and Borgmannstrasse 12, diagonally across from the forum. The working title is also Forum Köpenick .
