Forward Poetry Prize
The Forward Poetry Prize is a British literary prize .
It was founded in 1991 with the aim of bringing poetry to a wider audience and is awarded annually for the best collection of poems, the best first collection of poems by an author, and the best poem. The Forward Arts Foundation sponsors the award with £ 16,000 and publishes The Forward Poetry Book each year , an anthology of the best shortlisted poems .
