The Fossá í Þjórsárdal is a river in southern Iceland .

It rises from a lake inland and flows over 43 kilometers to its confluence with the Þjórsá west of the Búrfell mountain . Where the Fossá enters the Fossárdalur, it falls parallel over the Háifoss and Granni waterfalls and shortly before its confluence over the Hjálparfoss .
