The Fossfjörður is a fjord in the West Fjords of Iceland .

The fjord is the southernmost of the Suðurfirðir in Arnarfjörður . It extends four kilometers into the country and is two kilometers wide. The Bíldudalsvegur runs around the whole of Fossfjörður S63. It is only up to the airfield of the place Bíldudalur asphalted at the western edge of the fjord and connects the village Patreksfjörður with the Vestfjarðavegur S60 north.

The fjord takes its name from Hof Foss ( Icelandic waterfall ), which is located inside the fjord. Another farm called Dufansdalur has now been abandoned. Dufan was a freed slave of a land taker who settled there.
