Foyers is a river in the Scottish Highlands. It is located in the Highland Council Area on the southeast side of the Great Glen .
The river Foyers is created by the confluence of the River Fechlin with the Allt Breinag near the small settlement Whitebridge at an altitude of about 188 m. After that, the foyers for 3.5 km flows north to near the village of Foyers in Loch Ness lead to. In Loch Ness, the foyer forms a small delta in which the only natural island of Loch Ness is located. Shortly before its confluence with Loch Ness, the foyers falls over the Falls of Foyers , two waterfalls 27 m and 9 m high.
