Frère-Bourgeois SA is a Belgian holding company which Dutch about the Foundation A. K. Frère-Bourgeois holds 53% of the intermediate holding company ERBE , the other 47% is held by the bank BNP Paribas , the family's long-term financial partner. The ERBE holds 45.6% stake in the publicly listed holding company Compagnie Nationale à Portefeuille / Compagnie National à Portefeuille (NPM / CNP), 20.4% of the shares of NPM / CNP holds the family directly.

The NPM / CNP in turn holds direct shares in various companies as well as an 89.5% stake in the holding company Agesca Nederland . Agesca and the Power Corporation of Canada owned by Canadian Paul Desmarais each hold 50% of the Dutch holding Parjointco , which has a majority stake of 54.1% in the Swiss Pargesa Holding . The Pargesa holds 50% of the Belgian industrial holding Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL).
