Frédéric Travels
Frédéric Reise (born June 12, 1815 in Oissel , † February 27, 1891 in Paris ) was a French art historian and art collector . From 1850 he held the office of curator for drawings and engravings in the Louvre , from 1861 additionally as curator for painting in the Louvre, and from 1874 the office of general director of the national museums of France.
