Frédéric Thiesse

Frédéric Georges Thiesse (born May 7, 1970 in Oullins / Rhône , France ) is a Franco-German professor of business informatics at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . He is the author of numerous articles in specialist and transfer journals and has received several awards for his scientific work.

Life

After completing his studies in business informatics at the University of Mannheim , Frédéric Thiesse was a research assistant at the chair of Hubert Österle , Institute for Business Informatics at the University of St. Gallen, until 2000 . He received his doctorate in 2001 in business administration , in particular information management, with the highest distinction.

From 2000 to 2003 he headed software and method development at Intellion AG, a Swiss IoT start-up. From 2003 to 2009 he initially worked as a junior lecturer and later as an assistant professor at the chair of Elgar Fleisch , Institute for Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen .

Frédéric Thiesse has held the chair for business informatics and system development at the University of Würzburg since 2010 .
