The Frölich Peak is a 1035 m high mountain on the Graham Coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises above Holst Point at the head of Beascochea Bay .
Participants in the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot mapped it. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 after the Norwegian biochemist Theodor Frølich (1870-1947), a pioneer in the field of scurvy research .
