The Frøyatunnel is a single-tube road tunnel between the islands of Frøya and Hitra in the Norwegian province of Trøndelag . The tunnel in the course of Fylkesvei 714 is 5305 m long and is at its deepest point approx. 164 m below sea level . It replaced the Kjerringvåg – Flatval ferry route.
