Helene Butenschön
Helene Butenschön ( pseudonym Fr. Lehne , born September 10, 1874 in Löbejün , † November 18, 1957 in Munich ) was a German writer .
Helene Butenschön grew up in Bernburg (Saale) , where she attended a secondary school for girls until 1891 . She was unable to fulfill her wish to become a teacher for health reasons; instead she worked in the parental household. In 1895 she married and moved to Chemnitz with her husband . From 1907 the couple lived in Munich . After Butenschön had already contributed to magazines such as the gazebo , she published numerous novels and short stories in book form from 1905 under the pseudonym Fr. Lehne . Her widely read works, which can be assigned to trivial literature, were partly reissued until the 1950s, her debut Ein Frühlingstraum even until the 1980s.
