François Bégaudeau
François Bégaudeau (born April 27, 1971 in Luçon ) is a French writer and journalist .

Bégaudeau, originally a teacher (and former singer of the French punk rock band Zabriskie Point ), was best known internationally through his novel Entre les murs , written in 2006 , for which he received the Prix France Culture / Télérama . This novel is also the factory template for the film The Class , which at the 61st International Film Festival in Cannes 2008 the Palme d'Or was awarded.
