François Callet

François Callet SJ ( May 8, 1822 - April 7, 1885 , Saint-Denis ) was a French missionary in Madagascar and the editor of Tantara ny Andriana eto Madagasikara .

Life

Callet came to Madagascar as a missionary. In the years between 1878 and 1881 he recorded the oral tradition of the kings of Imerina . Since Queen Ranavalona II.
