François Louis de Rousselet, Marquis de Château-Renault (also: Châteaurenault, Châteaurenaut or Châteauregnaud) (born September 22, 1637 in Château-Renault ; † November 15, 1716 in Paris ) was a French nobleman, marshal and vice admiral .

In 1689 he was the commander of the French fleet at the sea ​​meeting at Bantry Bay . He was one of the French squadron commanders in the Battle of Beachy Head . In the War of the Spanish Succession he became Vice Admiral in 1701 and commanded the French fleet in the naval battle of Vigo . The battle was a complete defeat and its flagship, La Forte, burned up with most of the fleet.

On April 12, 1704 he became Lieutenant de Haute et Basse Bretagne.
