Françoise Dorner (born June 17, 1949 in Paris ) is a French actress and writer .

Life

Françoise Dorner began her acting career as a teenager and was seen in minor supporting roles in several television series in the 1960s. In addition to several theater engagements, she was also seen sporadically in films such as The Bull and the Killer and Day of Violence on the screen from 1975 onwards . Without major leading roles, she was regularly employed in film and television productions until 2004.

After already writing a number of plays, Dorner made her debut in 2004 with La Fille du rang derrière , which was published in 2010 by the Swiss Diogenes Verlag under the German title Die Frau im der derrière . After she was awarded the Prix ​​Goncourt du premier roman for her debut work , she received the Prix ​​Émile-Augier for her second novel La Douceur assassine , published in 2006 .
