action
The little successful and constantly troubled by money greetings card publisher Matthias Duval met the pretty US twins Betty and Liz Kerner by chance on the Riviera. The twins are said to have an inheritance of millions, but there is one catch: they have to be married to keep the fortune. In order to be able to hook up with both women, Duval invents his own twin, who is very different in character and appearance. This leads to problems and mix-ups and copious amounts of confusion.
background
Director Yves Robert made a brief appearance in the film as a man in the elevator . The film launch in German cinemas was on December 19, 1985. The comedy was adapted for the US film market in 1995 under the title Two Much with Antonio Banderas , Melanie Griffith and Daryl Hannah in the leading roles.
criticism
"A well-directed comedy that ultimately lacks humor and verve."
