Francesco De Marchi (born June 17, 1986 in Padua ) is an Italian volleyball player .

Career

De Marchi began his career in 2002 with Sisley Treviso . There he was first used in the youth teams and later also in the first division. In 2005 he moved to the second division Volley Corigliano . In the 2007/08 season, the outside attacker was active in his hometown at Pallavolo Padua in the first division. In the following season he appeared with Andreoli Latina in the second division as well as from 2009 again with Padua. In 2011 the team was promoted. Then De Marchi was part of the extended squad of the Italian national team . After a year at Marmi Lanza Verona , he moved to Exprivia Molfetta . In the middle of the season, he was signed by the French first division club Rennes Volley in January 2014 . In the summer of 2014, De Marchi moved to the Bundesliga to the Berlin Recycling Volleys , with which he became German champion in 2016 and won the DVV Cup and the CEV Cup.
